Airports are infrastructures that occupy large tracts of land. Much of the same, unpaved, with plenty of low vegetation coverage and provide food for many birds that use them regularly.
Thus, the possibility of collision between aircraft and birds is real and indeed there have been serious accidents. We have extensive experience in the management of wildlife at airports.
We work with raptors using falconry techniques that allow us to ensure exclusion spaces, expelling of air zones, problem birds. We have a team of falconers with over twenty five years experience in wildlife control work.
